“Tango en Vivo” (Tango Live) was an extensive concert series which we produced in collaboration with the Radio “2 x 4” and the Department of Music of the Buenos Aires City Government in 2003 and 2004, with the participation of, among others, the duo Salgan-De Lío, the Sexteto Mayor, Leopoldo Federico, Rubén Juárez, María Graña, Guillermo Fernández, Néstor Marconi, Juanjo Domínguez, and the Emilio Balcarce Tango Orchestra School. The live concerts were aired on the radio on Saturdays and Sundays with an estimated audience of 300,000 listeners.

Over 100 concerts were recorded with a digital multitrack system. From these recordings, together with Epsa Music, we produced a five CD box as a selection of the best moments of the concert series, creating a work of fundamental reference, a true musical map of contemporary tango.
